Third Party Productions lurched into fulltime life around five years ago as an independent television production company dedicated to making creative documentaries and arts programmes.

The company is the brainchild of writer/producer Colin Hogg, who has joined forces with co-producer Gayle Hogan, production manager Monique Nielsen and production coordinator Patricia Phelan to make several one-off documentaries, performance pieces and series.

Eschewing the easy thrills – and good time slots – of reality and tabloid television, the 3rd Party team remains focussed on making programmes that excite it.

They hope it shows.
